Happy Girl SBSC162 Sketch Challenge

I am so glad I started to play with the sketch challenges on Splitcoast Stampers. I am starting to get so much done! Here is my page for Scrapbook Sketch Challenge 162. This is from our trip to Baughman's Farm this fall in Lakeville, NY. We had a great time. Amber loved playing on the playground equipment. I love that happy girl smile!

Crazy Color Christmas

This card I made for Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge 190. I wasn't sure about the colors, Pixie Pink, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive. Although I think the colors are growing on me. Just not sure it is fitting for Christmas, but its that time of year and I have alot of Christmas cards to make. My husband said to send this one to my old aunts. What do you think?

Faux Metal Stamping Attempt

This is my first attempt at Faux Metal Stamping. This version I used Brushed Silver Cardstock and Silver Embossing Powder. The look of the silver metal tag is subtle but adds a elegant look to the card.

Paper: Real Red SU, Not Quite Navy SU, Hostess Patterns Pack SU, Brushed Silver SU
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Silver embossing powder, Scallop punch, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches

An Artichoke Christmas

Slowly getting Christmas cards done. For this one I used my new Hostess Pattern Pack Designer Series Paper in Artichoke. I am loving the Artichoke color with Real Red. I think it goes great together. I used the mat pack to pierce the Mellow Moss background around the border. I am a big fan of the Mat Pack for it's low price and versatility!

I used the Yoyo Yellow Marker and Close to Coco Marker directly on the Tree stamp to color the star and truck. For the snowflake circle, I stamped off the Artichoke once before making my finally image. I colored the 'Deck the Halls' with the red marker on the greeting stamp to stamp onto the snowflake.

October Breast Cancer Month Pink Just Because Card

This is a card for a woman in my MOMS club who was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant with her second child. She is still is receiving treatment after 3 years.

I attempted a version this weeks technique challenge TLC191, I however used Luminere and Pretty in Pink refill mixed to color the flower. It is hard to see the shimmer in the photo, but the luminere does make a beautiful addition to the card.

Also this card is for Splitcoast Stampers Card Sketch Challenge 116.

I am so excited I finally made a scrapbook page today. I loved the Splitcoast Stampers Scrapbook Sketch Challenge SBSC161 this week. I couldn't pass it up. Holiday Coaster Frame

This is one of my Holiday Stamp Camp projects that I did with my customers. The coaster uses Season of Joy one of my favorite Christmas sets. The red strip I pierced using the Stampin' Up Mat Pack, it gives the strip a nice textured look which is hard to see in the picture. The JoY was inked using the Versamarker and then embossed with white embossing powder. I using the Versamark pad for the snwflake stamp and cut it out with the 1 1/4" circle punch and mounted it on the scallop circle punch with a Stampin' Dimensional. Holes in the coaster was punch with the Crop-a-Dile which is great for punching chipboard. I love the way it turned out!
